Jimmy Butler’s Video Diary: Bulls Season So Far

The Bulls sensational reserve sits down with Outside Shot to talk about the team and the strides he's taken this year as a player

Jimmy Butler has been one of the bright spots for the Chicago Bulls this season. After not getting much burn last year as a rookie, no one was really sure what to expect from the Marquette alum this season.

It's now clear that Butler worked hard on his game over the summer and as the 2012-13 season has progressed, so has Butler’s game. He’s an invaluable member of Tom Thibodeau’s rotation and seems to really have blossomed when given an opportunity to start for Luol Deng who went down with a hamstring injury.

Now that Deng is back, Butler has returned to his usual role of coming off the bench, but that hasn’t damaged his confidence or his production. His play continues to be a key reason for the Bulls’ success in the month of January which has them in third place in the Eastern Conference standings and leading in the Central Division.

Butler sat down with Outside Shot after the Bulls victory over the Detroit Pistons on Monday night and talked about the team and his own individual play and development this season. Enjoy!
