Chicago Bulls to Move to New Radio Home Saturday

Bulls games will air on 670 the Score beginning Saturday afternoon

Earlier this month, it was revealed that the Chicago Bulls would be losing their radio home, but another station has swooped in to save the day.

According to a press release issued on Wednesday, the remainder of the Bulls’ regular season schedule can be heard on 670 the Score in Chicago. The team has signed a new contract with the radio station that will run through the 2020-21 season, the team announced.

“The Chicago Bulls are proud to partner with Entercom and WSCR as the official radio broadcast partner and new home for Chicago basketball,” Bulls President and COO Michael Reinsdorf said in a statement.

In mid-January, it was announced that Cumulus Media would be seeking to terminate its contract with the Bulls and Chicago White Sox, effective Feb. 1, because of pending bankruptcy filings.

The Bulls, whose games currently air on WLS, moved quickly and signed a long-term deal with WSCR 670 AM, the flagship station of the Chicago Cubs.

Meanwhile, the White Sox are still without a home as they continue their search for a station to air their games. Reports have surfaced that the team may look to the FM side of the dial for their new home station, but nothing has been set as the team moves toward the regular season.
