Derrick Rose was recovering from surgery Wednesday, one day after being elbowed in the face by a teammate during the Bulls’ first practice.
The team said Wednesday afternoon Rose is expected to "resume basketball activities" within two weeks.
Despite the short recovery time, Bulls fans still took to social media to comment on his injury.
