Chicago Teams Push for Kris Bryant to Reach All-Star Game

Chicago's sports teams are joining forces to try to get Cubs star Kris Bryant elected to the MLB All-Star Game.

Bryant is part of the "Final Vote" promotion that Major League Baseball is putting on. Fans can vote for Bryant to be the last participant elected from the National League into the All-Star Game, which takes place next week in Miami.

Fans are being encouraged to tweet using the hashtag #VoteKB to help pile up votes for the superstar, and several Chicago teams, including the Bulls, Blackhawks, and Fire, are joining in the effort:

Naturally, the Cubs are upping the stakes on their own feed, giving away tickets, autographed items, and even a selfie with their superstar third baseman:

Voting ends at 3 p.m. Central time, and going into the final day of voting, Bryant was trailing Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner.
