Chicago Police say that a bomb threat that briefly shutdown downtown CTA service in the Loop was unfoudned and trains have resumed their regular routes.
The threat was reported at the Clark and Lake Street CTA stop, according to police.
Service on the Blue, Brown, Orange, Purple, Pink, and Green lines was interrupted by the threat, but the CTA now says that trains are resuming service after police activity.
Serious residual delays are still expected.
