Chicago Blackhawks Release 2017-18 Preseason Broadcast Schedule

The Chicago Blackhawks will kick off their preseason schedule on Sept. 19 when they battle the Columbus Blue Jackets, and the game will be one of six tilts that will be televised in the Chicago area.

In fact, the Blackhawks’ entire preseason schedule will be televised, as the team looks to bounce back after back-to-back early playoff exits in each of the last two years. The Blackhawks will play three games at the United Center and three away from home, taking on the Blue Jackets, Red Wings, and Bruins as they prepare for the season.

Here is the team’s entire preseason schedule, with TV information:

Sept. 19: at Columbus 6 p.m. Comcast Sportsnet Plus

Sept. 21: vs. Detroit 7:30 p.m. WGN

Sept. 23: vs. Columbus 7:30 p.m. Comcast Sportsnet Plus

Sept. 25: at Boston 6 p.m. WGN

Sept. 28: at Detroit 6:30 p.m. Comcast Sportsnet Plus

Sept. 30: vs. Boston 7:30 p.m. Comcast Sportsnet

The Blackhawks will open the regular season on Oct. 5 when they welcome the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins to the United Center.

A full TV schedule for all regular season games will be released at a later date.
