The Chicago Blackhawks are now 0-4 in Winter Classics after falling to the Boston Bruins at Notre Dame Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
Brendan Perlini and Dominik Kahun both scored goals for the Blackhawks, but Sean Kuraly scored with about 10 minutes to go in the game to give the Bruins the victory.
Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak both scored power play goals for the Bruins.
Despite the Bruins dominating the play early in the game, the Blackhawks got on the board first. David Kampf went behind the net to win a puck battle, and as he turned back toward the rink he flipped a perfect pass to the front of the netmouth for Brendan Perlini, who fired home a shot past Tuukka Rask to give Chicago a 1-0 lead.

The Bruins’ power play had a chance to tie things up four minutes later, and they didn’t let it slip by. After a turnover by the Blackhawks, Patrice Bergeron fired a pass to a waiting Pastrnak, who patiently slid the puck past a sprawling Ward to knot things up at 1-1.
That score would remain in place until the 11 minute mark of the second period when the Blackhawks took the lead back. Erik Gustafsson rifled a shot from the point and Kahun managed to get his stick on the puck to redirect it into the Bruins’ net to give his team a 2-1 lead.

With about a minute to go in the second period, the Bruins got another power play and managed to score another goal. After a mad netfront scramble, Bergeron registered his second point of the game when he corralled the puck and ripped home a shot to tie the game at 2-2 just before the second intermission.
As the momentum of the game teetered in the balance, the Bruins ended up seizing it near the halfway mark of the third period.
A shot from the point hit Chris Wagner near the net, and as the Blackhawks scrambled to adjust their defensive coverage, Kuraly grabbed the rebound and scored to give Boston a 3-2 lead with less than 10 minutes to go in regulation.
