The Chicago Bears were hoping to get back to the .500 mark, but their offense was unable to put points on the board in a loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
The loss drops the Bears to 4-6 on the season, and further dims their faint playoff hopes.
Mitchell Trubisky threw for 190 yards and a touchdown, but was pulled from the game late in the fourth quarter with a hip injury, according to the team.
The Rams took a 10-0 lead in the second quarter, with Greg Zuerlein kicking a field goal and Todd Gurley scoring a touchdown, but the Bears looked to be making a comeback in the third quarter as they engineered a 12-play, 80 yard touchdown drive to make it a 10-7 game.
Unfortunately for Chicago, the comeback attempt was short lived, as they were unable to get things going offensively. The defense held for most of the half, but a quick 71-yard drive by the Rams with three and a half minutes to go in the game resulted in a Malcolm Brown touchdown, and the Rams seized a 17-7 lead.
Trubisky was pulled from the game due to a hip injury, and Chase Daniel was unable to lead the Bears on a miraculous drive.
The Bears will next welcome the New York Giants to Soldier Field in Week 12.

The Bears' defense finally cracks, and the Rams score as Malcolm Brown cruises into the end zone. It's now 17-7, and the Bears are on the verge of dropping to 4-6 on the season.

The narrative has stayed exactly the same. The Rams and Bears both are struggling on offense, and the Bears' playcalling has been questionable at best. Rams winning 10-7.

Since the touchdown drive, the Bears' offense has been completely stymied by the Rams. Fortunately for Chicago, the Rams' offense has been completely shut down too. It's 10-7 after three quarters.
9:09 p.m.
The Bears put together a gorgeous drive on their first possession of the second half, and Trubisky continues to find open receivers. He ends the drive by floating a pass that Tarik Cohen makes a wonderful adjustment on, and after the catch he breaks the plane with the ball and makes it a 10-7 game.
8:41 p.m.
The Bears have an opportunity to make some noise at the end of the half, but Trubisky takes a sack, and the Bears are forced to punt. The Rams take a knee, and it's a 10-0 game at the break with Los Angeles getting the ball first to start the second half.
8:28 p.m.
On the very next play, the Rams score. Todd Gurley punches the ball into the end zone, and the Rams take a 10-0 lead.
8:24 p.m.
On a third down play, Jared Goff finds Cooper Kupp for a long completion that is initially ruled a touchdown. After video review, the ball was shown to have come out prior to him breaking the plane of the end zone, giving the Rams a first-and-goal at the 1-yard line.
8:21 p.m.
The Bears' offense is still off-kilter, as Mitchell Trubisky is picked off. Anthony Miller called for offensive pass interference on the play, then the ball bounced off his hands and was ultimately intercepted.

The Rams stall out in Bears' territory, and Greg Zuerlein barely keeps his field goal attempt inside the left upright. Rams up 3-0 in the second quarter.
7:57 p.m.
The Bears get into field goal range again, but once again Eddy Pineiro can't convert as he pushes his kick wide right. It's 0-0 after one quarter.
7:43 p.m.
The Rams are driving the ball down the field thanks to some strong running from Todd Gurley, but the Bears get another takeaway as Roquan Smith intercepts Jared Goff.
7:40 p.m.
The Bears go for it on 4th-and-9 when Eddy Pineiro would have had a 49-yard field goal attempt. Could be an injury situation or a loss-of-trust on the part of head coach Matt Nagy.
7:31 p.m.
On the Rams' first play from scrimmage, Eddie Jackson pulls the ball from Todd Gurley's hands and the Bears recover it in Los Angeles territory.
7:30 p.m.
The Bears get a couple of good first down plays from Mitchell Trubisky, who finds Taylor Gabriel and David Montgomery, but after two straight unsuccessful passing attempts, Eddy Pineiro missed a 48-yard field goal wide left.
As the Bears go into the game, they will be without a key member of their defense, as middle linebacker Danny Trevathan will miss the game with an elbow injury. Trevathan didn’t make the trip with the team to Los Angeles, but his absence will be sorely felt on a defense that has looked to him for leadership during the season.
The Bears will also be without tight end Adam Shaheen and linebacker Isaiah Irving, both of whom were ruled out for the contest on Friday.
Shaheen’s absence is especially tough to swallow, as the team will be forced to rely on Ben Braunecker and Bradley Sowell for any use of the tight end in the passing game.
Cornerback Duke Shelley, offensive lineman Alex Bars, defensive lineman Abdullah Anderson, and wide receiver Riley Ridley are all inactive for Sunday’s game.
Kickoff is set for 7:20 p.m., and the game will air on NBC 5 Chicago.
