Trey Burton Added to Bears' Injury Report With Groin Injury

The team announced Burton's inclusion on Saturday night

Chicago Bears tight end Trey Burton was a late addition to the team’s injury report on Saturday night, as he’s apparently dealing with a groin injury.

Burton, who played for the Philadelphia Eagles when they won the Super Bowl last season, is now listed as questionable because of the injury, the team announced.

The tight end set career highs in receptions, yards, and touchdowns this season, registering 54 catches for 569 yards and six scores in his first season with the Bears.

Bears safety Eddie Jackson, defensive tackle Bilal Nichols, and defensive back DeAndre Houston-Carson are also listed as questionable for the game, while linebacker Aaron Lynch is listed as doubtful.

The active players for both teams will be announced at least 90 minutes before kickoff on Sunday.
