‘Swerski's': Bears Superfan Pop-Up Coming to Chicago Bar for Football Season

You and your frents can soon raise a glass and give tanks to DA BEARS at a new Chicago pop-up coming to da city just in time for football season. 

Timothy O’Toole’s Pub in the Streeterville neighborhood will transform a private bar room into “Swerski’s” starting Sept. 5, the day the beloved Bears open the NFL season against the rival Green Bay Packers, the bar announced Friday. 

The ode to the beloved “Saturday Night Live” skit will offer a Bears-themed food and drink menu, photo backdrops and props, merch, including a Swerski’s koozie, and more. 

Among the menu options will be “Midway nachos” and “Trubisky’s tacos.” 

"Swerski's" will be open from 2 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Sept. 5 and will continue every Thursday and Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. and every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. through football season, according to the eatery.
