Chicago Bears Officially Add Dontrelle Inman to Roster

The Chicago Bears made it official on Thursday, as they announced that they had acquired wide receiver Dontrelle Inman from the Los Angeles Chargers.

Inman, who caught 58 passes for 810 yards and four touchdowns last season, will wear number 17 for the Bears, according to the team, and will look to help a passing attack that has been virtually non-existent in the team’s last two games.

In exchange, the Bears sent a conditional seventh-round draft pick to the Chargers.

To make room for Inman on the active roster, the Bears announced that they have released linebacker Jonathan Anderson.

The Bears have not said whether Inman will make his debut for the team when they play the New Orleans Saints this weekend. If he doesn’t, then he will have an additional week to prepare as the team heads into their bye week following the game.
