Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy’s visor has become an iconic look, but when he arrived at Soldier Field on Thursday, he channelled a Bears legend in a perfect tribute to the team’s storied history.
Nagy, who will begin his second season at the helm on Thursday night, showed up for the game wearing a stylish suit, vest, and fedora in a clear tribute to team founder, and original coach, George Halas:
“Visor’s out tonight. Original Halas fedora’s in,” the Bears tweeted.
It isn’t clear whether Nagy will wear the look on the team’s sidelines, but we’re guessing that he will change into his more standard coaching attire before putting on the headset.
Regardless, his homage to Halas was absolutely perfect, and Bears fans raved about the choice on social media.
