The Chicago Bears’ pass rush is going to be in for a big test against New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and their biggest weapon could be limited as the teams do battle at Soldier Field.
The Bears returned to Halas Hall for their first workout of the week on Wednesday. Mack is slated to undergo tests on the injured ankle, which limited him to 79 percent of the team’s snaps against the Dolphins, according to the Chicago Tribune.

With Mack hobbled and the rest of the defense shut down, the Bears failed to register a sack in Sunday’s game, the first time they’ve been kept off the stat sheet this season. Mack also failed to register a forced fumble in the game, the first time he’s been prevented from doing so this season.
The Bears’ first injury report of the week will be released on Wednesday afternoon.
