Chicago Bears

Packers vs. Bears: Smith, Mack Full Participants in Practice

DeAndre Houston-Carson was the lone Bear to miss Wednesday's workout

The Chicago Bears issued their first injury report of the 2018 season, and while two players were listed, it was perhaps more notable which players weren’t on the list.

Linebacker Roquan Smith, who held out for most of training camp as he negotiated a contract with the team, was a full participant in the workout, as was defensive end Khalil Mack, who held out from Oakland Raiders camp before being traded to Chicago.

It’s unclear how much playing time the two stars will get on Sunday, but it’s a good sign that they were listed as full participants in the workout at Halas Hall.

Defensive back DeAndre Houston-Carson was the only player who missed practice, as he is recovering from forearm and back ailments. Tight end Daniel Brown, who was injured in the team’s preseason finale last week, was a limited participant with a shoulder issue.

For the Packers, safety Josh Jones did not practice, and linebackers Oren Burks (shoulder) and James Crawford (hamstring) were both limited in their workouts in Green Bay.
