Khalil Mack, Allen Robinson Sit Out Bears' Practice

Mack is dealing with an ankle injury, and Robinson has a groin issue

The Chicago Bears are in for a tough test against the New England Patriots this week, and they got some bad news on the injury front as they prepare for that game.

Linebacker Khalil Mack, who has been termed as day-to-day with an ankle injury, did not practice for the second straight day as the team takes a cautious approach to his recovery.

Mack was joined on the sidelines by wide receiver Allen Robinson II, who missed the workout after coming up with a groin injury on Wednesday’s report. He was a limited participant in that workout, but sat completely out of Thursday’s work at Halas Hall.

The Bears also had a trio of players who were limited in their activities, including cornerback Prince Amukamara, who re-injured his hamstring during the team’s loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Cornerback Marcus Cooper, who is also dealing with a hamstring issue, and offensive lineman Eric Kush, who has a neck ailment, were also limited.

The final injury report for both teams will be published on Friday, and the Bears should have a good idea by then whether Robinson and Mack will be able to play against New England.
