Bears Fall to Lions in Close Game at Soldier Field

The Chicago Bears lost to the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon at Soldier Field.

After a good start to the game, the Bears watched the Lions' offense slowly churn out quality drives, and a Matt Prater kick with a minute and a half to go was the difference as the Lions won.

The loss drops the Bears to 3-7 on the season.

The Bears had a chance to tie the game late, as Mitchell Trubiksy scrambled and converted on a long fourth down play and then found Dontrelle Inman for another first down. Unfortunately for Chicago, Connor Barth's attempted field goal sailed well right, sending the Bears to their third straight loss.

The road for the Bears won't get any easier, as they take on the Philadelphia Eagles next week in the City of Brotherly Love.
