Lions vs. Bears: Robinson, Mack Expected Back for Sunday Game

Both players missed the team's last two games

The Chicago Bears will nearly be at full strength on Sunday, as Khalil Mack and Allen Robinson are both expected to play against the Detroit Lions at Soldier Field.

Both players, who missed the Bears’ last two games due to injuries, were full participants in every workout this week at Halas Hall, and were not listed on the team’s game status report, indicating they are ready to go for the contest against the Lions.

Tight end Ben Braunecker, who was in the NFL’s concussion protocol, wide receiver Taylor Gabriel, who banged up his knee against the Buffalo Bills, and Eric Kush, who had been dealing with a neck issue, were also listed as full participants in practice and are expected to play Sunday.

Tight end Dion Sims has been ruled out for the game with a concussion, and defensive end Bilal Nichols is questionable as he continues to deal with a knee issue.

On the Lions’ side of things, they will be without two key contributors, as offensive lineman TJ Lang and cornerback Darius Slay have both been ruled out due to injuries. Linebacker Eli Harold, who has been limited in practice all week with a shoulder injury, was listed as doubtful by the team.

Defensive back Ezekiel Ansah, running back Kerryon Johnson, linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin, and tight end Luke Willson were all listed as questionable by the Lions.

The two teams will play the first of two games in an 11 day stretch on Sunday, with kickoff set for noon at Soldier Field.
