Bears Stomp Cowboys

Chicago 34, Dallas 18

Chicago went down to Dallas and is leaving their extravagant stadium with a 34-18 win on Monday night football. The defense had two touchdowns and Jay Cutler threw for two more.

Though the game started slow, the win was keyed by a stellar performance by the defense. Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo threw five interceptions, including two to Major Wright. Two other interceptions were returned for touchdowns -- one by Lance Briggs and one by Charles Tillman. Both pick-sixes came when the Cowboys offense was driving and finding momentum.

The Bears also bottled up the Cowboys running game. They only gained 41 yards on the ground.

Cutler and the offense looked much better than they did against the Rams last week. Brandon Marshall had seven catches for 137 yards and a touchdown. Though there were mistakes early on, the Bears made corrections and Cutler threw huge bombs to Marshall, Devin Hester, and Kellen Davis.

This win gives the Bears a record of 3-1, the same as the Vikings and Packers. Chicago will face Jacksonville at Soldier Field on Sunday.
