Bears Lineman Akiem Hicks Steals Show at Pro Bowl Practice

Hicks was given a microphone and free rein to be hilarious during workouts in Orlando

Chicago Bears defensive tackle Akiem Hicks is clearly making the most of his opportunity to showcase his skills against the NFL’s best.

Hicks, who is one of eight Bears players who have been named to the Pro Bowl roster, wore a microphone during NFC workouts on Wednesday, and the results were about as great as you would expect:

Hicks relished the opportunity to be on the field, going after quarterback Mitchell Trubisky and getting in some good jabs, both verbal and physical, at center Cody Whitehair. He even managed to take a swipe at running back Tarik Cohen, who made the team as a return specialist.

To cap things off, Hicks worked on his dance moves and also goofed around with the team cameraman who was following his every move.

Hicks and the rest of the Pro Bowl’ers will take the field on Sunday afternoon in Orlando.
