Chance the Rapper is set to make a surprise appearance at the Taste of Chicago kick-off Wednesday, the musician announced on social media.
The famed rapper from Chicago wrote on Twitter that he will be performing at the world’s largest food festival at 5 p.m.
The timing of the show means Chance’s performance will come just before The Roots are set to take the stage at the Petrillo Music Shell at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets for the music shell are sold out for Wednesday’s show, but Taste-goers can still listen to the performance at the festival.
Over the weekend, Chance the Rapper made a guest appearance at the Mamby on the Beach festival at Oakwood Beach.
