The suspect, Anatoliy Ermak, shot himself after police officers confronted him Friday night

The suspect in a double homicide in Buffalo Grove died Monday morning after being hospitalized for a self-inflicted gunshot wound during a confrontation with police in Minnesota.

The Buffalo Grove Police Department said it confirmed with Edina authorities that Anatoliy Ermak died at 7:02 a.m. at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
