Another Victim Sees Similarities in Bucktown Attacks

Chris Kostelnic says he was hit over the head, didn't see his attacker

Could the Bucktown bat attackers have other victims?

A 29-year-old painter from Chicago says there are a lot of similarities between last week's attack on Stacy Jurich and Natasha McShane and his encounter last month with an unknown mugger.

Chris Kostelnic tells the Chicago Sun-Times that he didn't see who hit him over the head in the early morning hours of March 26 and stole his credit cards.  His attack was also on a Friday morning and within a mile of where Jurich and McShane were jumped.

His stolen credit cards were also used at a nearby gas station.

"The similarities are obvious," he told the newspaper.

Chicago police say they're probing for links between the cases, but said they don't have much to go on other than the similarities.
