A woman is dead after a fatal house fire in suburban Brookfield on Sunday morning.
The unidentified woman, was pronounced dead after the fire, which took place in the 4300 block of Arthur Avenue. Authorities were called to the scene just before 6:30 a.m.
A dog was also found inside of the residence, and also passed away.
Officials are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire, and have not released the identity of the victim.
