Chicago police released surveillance video Sunday, asking for help identifying two people suspected of burglarizing the Bridgeport Art Center earlier this month.
The incident took place between 3:23 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. on Nov. 4 at the venue located in the 1200 block of West 35th Street on the city’s Southwest Side, according to Chicago police.
The suspects, both dressed in dark clothing and wearing backpacks, are first captured on video entering what appears to be a freight elevator.
They exit the elevator and can be seen roaming in and out of a large, open room before entering another elevator.
Nearly two hours later, the duo was spotted walking out of the building on the east dock, carrying at least two more bags as they headed towards Racine Avenue.
The suspects stole electronics, according to police, and entered and exited the facility through the basement. Further details on the type and value of the electronics was not available.
No one is in custody in connection with the burglary, and authorities continue to investigate. The Bridgeport Art Center did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
