Brian Hoyer Leaves Bears-Packers Game With Injury

Chicago Bears quarterback Brian Hoyer has excelled as he's played in place of injured quarterback Jay Cutler, but things took a turn for the worse on Thursday night as he suffered an apparent injury of his own.

The play happened during the Bears' game against the Green Bay Packers. On a third down pass, Hoyer was hit hard by Packers defenders Julius Peppers and Clay Matthews, and he seemed to be favoring his left arm as he came off the field.

After halftime, Bears head coach John Fox told the CBS television booth that Hoyer suffered a broken left arm on the play and that he will be out for the remainder of the game. Matt Barkley has come into the game to relieve him.
