Boy, 5, Dies After He Was Shot in Kenosha, Left at Hospital

Police said Monday evening the investigation is still "very active."

Police in Kenosha are investigating the death of a 5-year-old boy who was dropped off at a hospital after he was shot. 

Police said the shooting happened around 1:43 p.m. Monday at a at a residence in the 2000 block of 60th Street.

Authorities got a call from staff at Froedtert South Hospital-Kenosha Campus after two people dropped off the boy and then left. 

The two subjects who transported the child have been identified, located and interviewed, according to authorities.

Police said Monday evening the investigation was still "very active."
