A 15-year-old boy was shot Saturday night in the Washington Heights neighborhood on the South Side.
The shooting happened about 9:40 p.m. near 98th Street and Emerald Avenue, police said.
The boy was shot in the hand and arm and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said. Additional details were not immediately available.
