Blue Line Trains Resume After Debris Cleared From Tracks

Blue Line trains were shut down between the Harlem and Jefferson Park stops for about an hour during the Monday morning rush as crews cleared debris from the tracks.

Service was put on hold shortly after 8 a.m., causing severe delays across the line, according to the CTA.

Trains were moving again with residual delays by about 9:15 a.m., the transit agency said.
