Snow Joke: Man Gets Revenge Over Stolen Shovel

David Welles admits he got a little passive aggressive when he buried a thief's car with snow

If the woman had just returned the shovel, there wouldn't have been any problem, one Chicago man says.

Instead, David Welles admits he got a little passive aggressive but hopes his neighbor learned a lesson.

Welles said he wanted to help his 2-year-old daughter build an igloo last Wednesday but noticed his shovel was missing.

"I have security cameras around the house, so the first thing I did was look at the cameras," he explained.  "I saw a woman grab my shovel then go to the side and dig her car out."

The shovel was never returned.

"So I took my snowblower and proceeded to try and bury her car with as much snow as I could," he said.

In a later recording, Welles said the woman can be seen returning to her car and proceed to clean it off with a broom.

"I got retribution and she got her car out, so no harm, no foul," he said.
