After winning their fourth straight game Wednesday night against the New York Rangers, the Chicago Blackhawks have announced that they will begin selling playoff tickets on Monday.
Tickets, which can be purchased for the first and second rounds of the playoffs, will go on sale to the general public on noon, according to the team, and they can be purchased via Ticketmaster on their website or by calling (800) 745-3000.
After their recent hot streak, the Blackhawks currently sit just two points behind the Nashville Predators for second place in the Central Division, with two games in hand on their rivals from Tennessee. If they’re able to leapfrog Nashville in the last part of the season, they would guarantee themselves home ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
The Blackhawks are also just three points behind the Blues for first place in the division, which would net them the top seed in the Central if they could overtake St. Louis. They also have two games remaining against the Blues, so they have a chance to make up some big-time ground in those contests.
