Chicago Steakhouse Among Best in US, New Ranking Says

It might not be the steakhouse Chicago residents would expect

A Chicago steakhouse got the Thrillist seal of approval last week.

According to their latest roundup, the website called Maple & Ash Steakhouse in the Gold Coast neighborhood one of the best in the country. Usual Chicago favorites like Gibsons and Rosebud Steakhouse did not make the cut.

Maple & Ash offers Chicago diners its "innovative take on the traditional steakhouse." In addition to the Thrillist mention, the restaurant has also received past recognition from the Chicago Tribune and Eater Chicago for its outstanding cuisine.

Described by Thrillist as "next-level" and "fun", Maple & Ash prides itself on delivering modern versions of steakhouse classics with a top-quality dining experience.

Guests who struggle to decide among the decadent array of meat and seafood dishes can simply say "I Don't Give a F*@K" and let two-time Michelin star Executive Chef Danny Grant take the reins.

Thrillist also mentioned Milwaukee's Five O'Clock Steakhouse and Indianapolis's St. Elmo Steak House on its list of favorites.
