Baby Grazed By Bullet, 2 Men Shot on City's South Side

A 6-month-old baby sustained a graze wound to the leg

A baby was grazed by a bullet, and two men were injured in a shooting on Friday evening on Chicago's South Side, police said.

The two men were standing on a sidewalk at approximately 5:18 p.m. in the 1900 block of East 71st Street when they were struck by gunfire.

A 28-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and knee, and was taken to the hospital in serious condition. A 65-year-old man was shot once in the foot, and went to the hospital in good condition, police confirmed. 

A 6-month-old baby boy sustained a graze wound to the leg, and was transported to Comer Children's Hospital in good condition. 

The shooting remained under investigation Friday evening.
