Autopsy Results Released for 3 Aurora Shooting Victims

All three victims died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the coroner's office

Authorities released autopsy results for three of the five men who were shot to death during Friday’s rampage at a factory in west suburban Aurora.

Officers responded at 1:28 p.m. to multiple calls of an active shooter at the Henry Pratt Company at 641 Archer Avenue, according to Aurora police. Five officers were then wounded during an ensuing exchange of gunfire with the shooter, 45-year-old Gary Martin, who was eventually shot and killed by police.

During the spree, the recently-fired Martin also shot and wounded six Henry Pratt employees, five of them fatally,  authorities said. The men who died have been identified as Trevor Wehner, Russell Beyer, Clayton Parks, Josh Pinkard and Vicente Juarez.

It’s been an emotional 24 hours for the friends and families of victims killed in Friday’s shooting at an Aurora plant, and NBC 5’s Chris Hush has the latest details on how they are coping.

Autopsy results released Sunday showed that 47-year-old Beyer, of Yorkville, 21-year-old Wehner, of Dekalb, and 32-year-old Parks, of Elgin, all died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Kane County coroner’s office. Autopsies for Pinkard and Juarez were scheduled for Sunday.

Martin, of Aurora, also died after suffering multiple gunshot wounds, the coroner’s office said.
