Pair Questioned in Aurora Restaurant Shooting

Arin Williams, 20, died after being shot in bathroom of La Torta Carniceria y Taqueria on Monday night

Police in west suburban Aurora said they're questioning two men in connection with the shooting death of a man inside a restaurant bathroom earlier this week.

The two suspects, ages 18 and 19, were taken into custody Tuesday afternoon in Cicero but had not been formally charged as of midday Wednesday.

They're suspected in the death of Arin Williams, 20, who lived on the 1800 block of Carnation Court, police said, according to the Beacon-News.

Williams was shot to death at around 7:35 p.m. Monday inside La Torta Carniceria y Taqueria, on the 800 block of North Lake Street, after he and two other men entered a bathroom and began to fight.

Police believe the murder is narcotics-related, Aurora spokesman Dan Ferrelli said Wednesday.

Williams' death was Aurora's first homicide of 2014.
