A 4-year-old girl died a house fire Wednesday in the city of Aurora, authorities said.
Firefighters responded to the blaze at four-unit town home in the 1800 block of Carnation Court about 1:57 p.m. on the city’s west side, officials said. A 25-year-old woman and a 5-month-old girl also suffered smoke inhalation and burns. They were treated and the scene, taken to a local hospital and then airlifted to Loyola Hospital.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
