Braves Troll Bryce Harper With Perfect Walk-Up Song

Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper has done enough to tease fans about signing with the Chicago Cubs, but now even opposing teams are getting in on the action.

During the Nationals’ game Tuesday against the Atlanta Braves, the organist at SunTrust Park began playing a tune familiar to Cubs fans when Harper stepped up to the plate in the first inning:

Clearly inspired by the tune, Harper notched an RBI groundout in the at-bat. He went 1-for-3 with two RBI and a walk in the game, but it wasn’t enough as the Nationals fell 13-6 to the upstart Braves.

Harper has been linked with the Cubs for quite some time, as he’s repeatedly teased at coming to the North Side and uniting with fellow Las Vegas native Kris Bryant.

The outfielder will be a free agent at season’s end, and will likely command one of, if not the biggest, contract in MLB history.
