Art Smith Denounces Chik-fil-A as “Poison”

Chicago chef speaks out on restaurant chain president's gay marriage comments

Chalk up another person who won't "Eat Mor Chikin."

Chicago chef Art Smith is speaking out about anti-gay marriage comments by Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy.

Cathy told a radio host last week that "God's judgment" is coming because of same-sex marriage and chastises "our generation" for having the "audacity to define what marriage is about."

Smith, who owns Table Fifty-Two in the Gold Coast and was Oprah Winfrey's longtime personal chef, had this to say to Grub Street New York about the controversy:

Smith is referencing his longtime partner Jesus Salgueiro. The pair were married in 2010.
