A man who was burglarizing a Jeep Cherokee was arrested and later found to have an apparently self-written "how to" guide for breaking into vehicles, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. The man had apparently been caught breaking into three vehicles in the last three weeks.
Man Found Dead
West Chatham
A 24-year-old man was found shot to death on the South Side, the Chicago Tribune reported. Police said he lived on the same block where he died.
