An armed robbery was reported on Friday evening on the DePaul University campus in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, according to a campus public safety alert.
The robbery happened at around 7:30 p.m. in an alley behind the Arts and Letters building. According to DePaul Public Safety, an offender displayed a knife, demanded money from a student and left the scene.
The student reported that they had met the suspect earlier in the day.
Anyone with information about the alleged crime was urged to contact the Chicago Police Department or DePaul Public Safety.
