The judges seemed unanimously stunned by Northbrook native Laura Bretan’s performance Tuesday night, offering praise and words of disbelief when she finished belting out her operatic tune.
“This is ridiculous, how old are you?” Simon Cowell asked incredulously. “You perform with such passion and you pace yourself and you always hit that big moment, and I’m sitting here thinking you can’t really be 14.”
But she is, and her performances have made headlines since her remarkable debut on the hit show.
“Tonight you look like a princess, but tonight you ruled the stage like a queen,” Heidi Klum said.
Viewers can vote for their favorite performers with the "America's Got Talent" app and the winner will be named Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
