Now that Rep. Aaron Schock has resigned, it's unclear what his future will hold.
If the past is any indication, however, Schock may go back to traveling the world and taking epic photos where he looks more like an Abercrombie model than a congressman.
"I'm different," the now former congressman said in February. "I came to Congress at 27. When I go take a personal vacation I don't sit on the beach, I go do active things. And so, I'm also not going to live in a cave. So when I post an Instagram photo with me and my friends, as Taylor Swift said, 'haters gonna hate.'"
Here's a look back at some of Schock's best Instagram photos, which were all posted before the recent and highly publicized ethics investigation.
Challenged by cadets at West Point to complete the Combat Water Survival Lab which is their toughest requirement for graduation. The associated press describes it as "Perhaps the mother of all swim tests – Survival Gate # 4 – can be found at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Weighed down by heavy equipment, cadets must perform several tasks in a pool amid simulated battlefield chaos. Artificial fog, rain, and deafening noise are pumped in, darkness is punctuated only by strobe lights, and the water is churned by artificial wave makers.” #almostdrowned #goarmy
