Publishers Promise Paper 'More Relevant' to Daily Life

It's a "Whole New Day" for the Chicago Tribune.

On Monday, the paper launched a new slogan and new design, with bolder images and a scaled-down format.

Hundreds of the Tribune's remaining employees poured out of the Tribune Tower at Monday morning to hand out free papers and candy bars.

A letter in Monday's edition from the publisher and editor of the Tribune states that, while there are many changes, "our guiding principal remains the same: We are committed to bringing you the accurate, courageous and groundbreaking reporting you've come to expect from us."
