Tatyana McFadden won her fifth consecutive Chicago Marathon Sunday in the women’s wheelchair race, finishing with an unofficial time of 1 hour, 41 minutes and 10 seconds. 

"The city really moved me today," she said after her big win. "I heard my name shouted across each mile. It's really exciting that Chicago knew my name."

The win means McFadden has earned her ticket to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

"I have my ticket to Rio for next year," she said. 

The University of Illinois alum won last year’s Chicago Marathon and New York City Marathon. In 2013, she won marathons in Chicago, Boston, London and New York, making her the first person, either disabled or able-bodied, to win four major marathons in one year.

McFadden also won a silver medal in cross-country skiing at the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games.

"It was really challenging this year because the wind direction kept changing," she said. "I used the wind to my advantage."
