Woman Sexually Abused During Driving Test in Chicago: Police

A woman says she was sexually abused by an instructor while taking a driving test in Chicago, police said.

The 32-year-old woman told police she was taking the test Thursday at a DMV at 99th Street and King Drive on the city’s South Side when the man administering the test told her to pull over in an alley.

The man then criminally sexually abused her, authorities said.

The woman was not injured in the incident and refused medical attention.

Police said no one was in custody as of Tuesday morning.

Secretary of State Jesse White said during an unrelated press conference Tuesday that authorities are looking into the allegation.

“We’re going to turn over every stone,” White said.

White's office noted the employee has since been removed from that office during both the police investigation and an internal investigation and is not currently working with the public.
