FBI Searches for Woman Who Robbed 3 Chicago-Area Banks

Authorities are searching for a woman believed to have robbed three banks in the Chicago area since April, according to the FBI.

The FBI said at around 11:50 a.m. on Thursday, the woman robbed Wintrust Bank near Division and Western in Chicago while wearing a blue dress.

Then at around 4 p.m., the same woman robbed Byline Bank, located at 8400 Skokie Blvd. in suburban Skokie, officials said. There she was seen wearing a green coat over a striped dress and carrying a gun, according to the FBI.

Officials said the woman appeared to be the same one who robbed Huntington Bank in Oak Lawn on Apr. 29.

No one was in custody in connection with any of the robberies, according to the FBI, and further details were not immediately available. The investigation into the incidents remained ongoing.
