Woman Raped at South Shore Station in Gary

The 68-year-old woman was waiting out Saturday's storm inside the Miller Beach station

Police are looking for the man who raped a 68-year-old woman at gunpoint Saturday night at a South Shore Line station in Gary, Ind.

The woman told police she was waiting out the storm inside the station in Miller Beach around 11:46 p.m. when a man approached her, according to the Northwest Indiana Times.

The man attacked and raped her, she told police.

Security cameras recorded the attack, the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District said in a statement. The man is described as black, in his mid-20s. He was wearing a white T-shirt with black lettering and white shorts.

Security footage showed him riding away on a dark-colored BMX-style bicycle, according to the paper.

The woman was taken to a local hospital in Gary.
