Winter is here – in more ways than one.
Aside from the snowstorms, ice and bone-chilling temps, a new pop-up in Chicago is bringing winter to the bar scene too.
Replay in Lincoln Park is transforming into a Game of Thrones pop-up beginning next week as fans across the globe wait for the highly-anticipated debut of the show’s final season.
“Winter 2019” will be in place through March 4, according to the arcade bar’s Facebook page.
Replay has been known to host several hit pop-up events at its Lincoln Park location, including “Friends” and “Office”-themed events. But this one, the bar says, is its “most ambitious yet.”
“We'll be turning the bar into a fantasy dreamscape! With dragons, thrones and epic fantasy,” organizers wrote.
As part of the pop-up, Replay will offer limited-quantities of Ommegang Brewery’s Arbor Gold and Fire & Blood brews on tap. There will also be wine, mead and a signature “Dothaquiri.”

Fans can purchase VIP ticket packages for the event, which includes mead or one of the signature brews in a keepsake goblet, a commemorative pin or print and express entry to the bar.
The eighth and final season of the hit HBO show based on the George R.R. Martin fantasy novels will begin on April 14.
