It has been nearly two years since the Lincoln Mall in south suburban Matteson closed its doors. But take a look inside today, and things already look drastically different inside the abandoned building.
The village of Matteson said the building will be demolished sometime in May.
The never-before-seen footage is part of an ongoing project by photojournalist Seph Lawless called Autopsy of America, which aims to document America’s most abandoned and forgotten ruins. You can also see some stunning images of inside the abandoned suburban mall here.
