The University of Chicago ranked in the top ten of a list of the world’s top universities.
The institute ranked number 8 on the list compiled by The Center for World University Rankings.
The list is based on information such as how many alumni have won major awards, the number of faculty members that have won awards, and the number of research papers from the school that appear in reputable journals.
Harvard tops the list, followed by Stanford University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
