DuPage County authorities took in quite a haul last week.
Undercover agents there busted two men who allegedly possesed nearly4,000 pounds of marijuana.
Members of the DuPage Metropolitan Enforcement Group allegedly watched as Luis Pichardo, 32, of 138 N. 18th Avenue in Melrose Park and Ignacio Morales, 28, of the same address, acting suspiciously at a business in Melrose Park.
The officers stopped the two men for a traffic violation shortly after, and a K9 Unit led the officers to a stash inside the vehicle.
The next day officers executed a search warrant on the business, at 135 Laura Drive, and found 3,700 pounds of marijuana -- worth an estimated $16.8 million.
Both men appeared in bond court Monday and were ordered held on $10 million. Their next court date is set for Sept. 19.
